It is really difficult to remain happy when you are sick physically or mentally. There is a close relationship between the mind and the body. Take physical exercises regularly according to your constitutional needs. Subscribe to some inspiring- thought- for- the- day service to motivate you to stay happy during the day. Most yoga and meditation gurus have complicated the process of meditation by using incomprehensible jargon about its practice and goals. Consequently, most people tend to doze off during the meditation sessions and stop practicing meditation altogether.
Also, take a stock of your day in the evening. Remember the little good things that happened. You were not held up in traffic snarls. Your car ran smoothly. There was no problem with your boss and colleagues. You had a delicious lunch or coffee. Thank your stars for a nice and happy day. This will fill you with gratitude and make you a happier person. It is impossible to change the world around you.
So stop fretting when people do not come up to your expectations. The best course is to change yourself or at least adjust with the people or situations you do not like. It is always better to make the best of what you have rather than pine for what you think is the best. A perfect state occurs only in Utopia and the world you live in is not that kind of ideal place. Do not be worried about the imperfections.
Even the most imperfect situation has some small element of perfection in it. You change your life by changing your thoughts. If the thoughts you think are pure, your life will be pure. Smile at cashiers or servers. Or, you could volunteer whenever you have free time. After identifying the things that are most important in your life, it's time to start eliminating everything else. This is all about simplifying your life, so that you can focus on the things that matter most to you and prevents you from getting distracted. We have so much stuff in our lives, from possessions to things we need to do to information coming in to visual and emotional clutter, that we are overloaded.
We end up doing a lot of things that aren't really important to us, because we have so much other stuff to do that has crept into our lives and that we leave in our lives, unexamined. I also find this true in the business world that when I eliminate unneeded expenses, you can become much less stressed. That's because when we look at the big picture we can get overwhelmed with all of the steps involved in achieving a goal. If you want different results, start making different choices. People may believe that honesty won't win you many friends--but even if that were true, the friends you make with honesty will be the right ones.
Honesty is the cornerstone of all success, without which confidence and the ability to perform cannot exist. Once you realize perfect doesn't exist, you can ease up on yourself. There's no harm in being wrong or making mistakes, as long as you're willing to make corrections.
2. Speak up with honesty and stop holding back what you think.
Just be yourself, flaws and all, and let people see the real you. Each of us is an imperfect human being, aware that we can't push away our failures and our flaws. Remember, winners aren't people who never fail but people who never quit. It's important to never let success get to your head or failure to your heart.
The secret to getting ahead is to acknowledge your failures and have the wisdom to apply them to new opportunities. Accept that you won't always make the right decisions. You'll screw up, sometimes badly. But your mistakes doesn't mean you've failed, only that you're trying and learning in life. If you are not making mistakes it means you are not trying hard enough.
